VietKings organized successfully the 2nd conference of the Asean Records Organizations 2016 in Vietnam

(Kỷ lục) On the morning of the day 9th December 2016, at Rex Hotel (141, Nguyen Hue Street, District 1, HCMC), the 2nd Conference of the Asean Record Organizations was organized successfully with the attendance of the representatives from 6 Asean Records Organizations include Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Campuchia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

The 2nd conference of the Asean Record Organizations hosted by Vietnam Book of Records (Vietkings) is the conference following the 1st conference hosted by Thailand Book of Records organized on 19th June 2016.



Dr. Thang Van Phuc, ex- deputy minister of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the chairman of the Vietnam Record Holders Association made a speech to open the conference.

In the 2nd Conference, the Record Organizations in Asean Region introduce about their organizations to each other and discuss about main subjects:

  • The way to create the financial resource to maintain and develop their operations.
  • Discuss about the opportunities and threat of the record organizations in orienting their operation to the records with content value beside the confirmation for the records with just only the element of form.
  • How to equalize between the commercial records and meaningful records of the individual and organizational owners.

 

At the conference, the representatives of the Record Organizations introduced about their organizations to each other and discussed about the suggested problems in this conference.


Mr. Christopher Wong – General Director of the Malaysia Book of Records introduce about the printed matters published by the Malaysia Book of Records.
 

Mr. Ong Eng Huat – General Director of the Singapore Book of Records made a speech in the Conference.

 

The presentation of Mr. Osmar Semesta Susilo – The vice Director of the Indonesia World Records Museum attracted the attentions of the other representatives.

Besides that, the Record Organizations also focused on the way to cooperate with each other to promote the remarkable value about the local destinations and specialties of each region in each country of Asean.

 

The representatives of the Record Organization signed a document about the cooperation under the witness of the representatives joined in the conference.
 

The Conference ended at 11h30 AM, and then, the representative were guided to visit the famous destinations in HCMC such as Ben Thanh Market, Cu Chi Tunnel…etc.

The 3rd Conference of Asean Record Organizations will be held in Indonesia in May 2017.
